The observation of great apes is a very profitable tourist resource, both for local communities and for the conservation of these endangered species. But at the same time it can also pose a huge danger to the health of these animals. In the wake of the covid-19 pandemic, the Protect Great Apes from Disease initiative was born. The real objective of this project is to create a website from which park agents from one of the 23 countries in which these species are found can freely download these and other support materials in 7 different languages.
